Inspired by the rich street food culture of Thailand, Nohm Boat Noodle brings the authentic taste of traditional Thai boat noodles to Penang.

Boat noodles originated from Thailand’s floating markets, where vendors served small bowls of flavorful noodles directly from boats along the canals. Known for their rich herbal broth, aromatic spices, and bold taste, boat noodles quickly became one of Thailand’s most beloved comfort foods.

Founded in 2018, Nohm Boat Noodle was created with a passion for sharing authentic Northern Thai flavors with local food lovers. Our recipes are inspired by the culinary traditions of Chiang Rai and Mae Sai, combining fresh ingredients, traditional herbs, and carefully prepared broths to create a truly memorable dining experience.
